Farewell Speach
RSC Vice-President HD Honscheid delivers the Farewell Address

HD decided to present his Thoughs of Thanks in form of a "Haiku" -
A Japanese Poem consisting of un-rhymed lines of 5 - 7 - 5 syllables

- When we came to visit

- Autumn reigned in Shobu Machi

- Good days spent with Friends.

- Our Hosts so gracious

- who gently guard and guide us.

- Thank you very much.

- We all felt keenly

- Friendship and Understanding

- Memories were carved.

- Now leaves turned golden

- We missed the Sakura bloom

- But Smiles compensate

- Smiles drift and swirl, like

- We had Hanafubuki.

- All in October.

Notes:
"Shobu Machi" is Shobu Town
"Sakura" is the Cherry Blossom Season in Japan
"Hanafubuki" is the term when the Cherry Blossoms are blown like snow by the wind
Doomo Arigato means "Thanks You"
